Responsibility

This environmental policy applies to all of our operations including management, office services, procurement, travel, training and field research.All employees have a responsibility in their area to ensure that the aims and objectives of the policy are met.

• We raise awareness, encourage participation in environmental matters
• We continually seek to improve environmental performance, e.g. by doing a regular walk-round survey of our business to see if we are using energy and water efficiently and whether measures to reduce waste and pollution are effective
• We assess the environmental impact of all historic, current and likely future operations.

Resources

We will ensure that resources are available to enable us to achieve our objectives and targets.

Objectives

We aim to:

• Reduce waste from printing
• Increase recycling throughout the office
• Ensure that air travel is only used when there is no other option
• Inform all customers of our commitment to reducing our environmental impact
• Ensure air conditioning units are only used when they are vitally needed
• Recycle all ink cartridges and consumables
• Only use recycled paper
